Origin
The grapes are sourced from our estate low-yielding vineyards (less than 1200 kgr/acre) located in the semi-mountainous village of Anoskeli, at an altitude of 250 meters. This wine carries the Protected Geographical Indication (PGI) Crete.
Winemaking
Cultivation of the vines and winemaking is conducted entirely by our winery uner the supervision of our Oenologis, Mr. Ioannis Galanis. Low yields in the vines lead to the creation of a wine with concentrated fruit and ripe characters that can age for many years in the bottle. Classic red vinification techniques are employed with meticulous temperature control (20-25°C). The wine is then aged in seasoned French oak barrels for 11 months, followed by further aging in our cellar for 1 year.
