Anoskeli S.A.'s journey began in a small village olive mill, fueled by a need to produce olive oil for family and friends . What started as a family tradition ignited a desire to invest in a modern, fully equipped olive mill and standardization unit, as well as a winery. Over the years, "Anoskeli" became synonymous with quality.

The story of Anoskeli S.A. is inextricably linked to the history of our family, the Mamidakis family, and our unbreakable bond with the Cretan land. It is a story of resilience, entrepreneurship, and a deep love for our homeland

Our journey began in the 1930s with Alexandros Mamidakis, a merchant from the village of Anoskeli, who was forced to live away from his family to join the struggle against the German occupation. His wife, Irene, displayed remarkable strength and resourcefulness, caring for their seven children and cultivating the land herself to ensure their livelihood. Growing up in difficult conditions, the Mamidakis siblings sought a better future in Athens. There, with Kyriakos, the eldest brother, at the helm, they excelled in the business world, building an empire in shipping, oil trading, and tourism. Despite their success, the family never forgot their roots and their love for Crete. With a deep belief in the value of local identity, heritage, and tradition, they invested in Anoskeli, focusing on olive cultivation and olive oil production. In 1983, they founded Anoskeli S.A., and in 1985, the olive mill opened its doors, breathing new life into the village.
